I bought the Engineers Black Book 3rd Edition (INCH) ... Large Workbench Edition. 234 total pages. Comes with plastic pre-labeled and blank page tabs that you can use to easily locate book sections, Spiral bound, plastic coated cover and pages. Wonderful book.

Pros
Spiral bound so it lays flat
Plasticized heavy cover and pages to resist dirty fingers and liquids.
Most conversion charts, threading info, and tables needed for everyday machining.
Contains best information on the various insert cutters I know of.
This is the INCH 3rd Edition. Yes!
Book construction is simply top notch. This is manual you need.

Cons
Not inexpensive, but for what you get, a very fair price.

Great alternative to the Machinery Handbook but!

July 4, 2019 By: Sarwat Sid (Lake Forest, United States)

Comments
Despite the breadth and depth I find this to be a great alternative to the MHB.

Pros
Colored charts, quality paper, spiral binding and just enough info for most commonly referenced data.

Cons
Has errors in some areas
No more free drill gauge included :(
At least a bookmark with some handy table/data would be nice
Pricey for the amount of info
