Great little book, very handy and packed with lots of info

Pros
The detail on engineering and the simplicity to understand what is written and shown

Absolutely love the book but there is no mention in the workshop metals section of 5083 Aluminium. It is the most widely used aluminium here in WA, mostly in the marine industry.

Pros
I love everything about this book, it has all the important day to day information I could ever want (and some) for the home workshop and at work.

Cons
none :-)

Great Book

March 2, 2019 By: Greg Long (Kankakee, United States)

Comments
Great compilation of charts and info. I am a hobby machinist and this is a great reference book for my home shop.

Pros
Lot and lots of info. Well organized. More info than I will ever need, but the stuff I do need and use is easy to find and use. Nice handbook size

Cons
Love the size of the book, but also makes the text small. Not really a con, just the way it is. I always use my safety reader glasses in the shop anyway, so not a big deal.

Very good

February 8, 2019 By: Fredrik Foghammar, Jack Midhage AB (Göteborg, Sweden)

Comments
Very good and understandable charts and diagrams, for the small stuff we do with the drillpress and lathe here it is a weatlh of knowlege

Pros
Good size, does not feal like it will fall apart soon, all the info I was hoping for and more.

Cons
I understand why the Spiral spine was chosen but in my experiance it is the first thing that tears the pages so they fall out

February 8, 2019 Response from: Hi Impact Supplies

Hi Fredrik, The pages are tear proof so don't expect them to tear off the spine anytime soon! Thank you for your review.

Engineers Black Book

February 7, 2019 By: Troy Mikton (Cocoa, United States)

Comments
Tough pages, really like the anti-glare coating, more information than I expected.

Pros
Small, great reference material.

Cons
Would like to see cutting speed chart, based on material, type cutter for turning, milling and reaming, for carbide and HSS. The metal binder, took mine to the office supply store and had the binder replaced for spiral binding.
