Great book. Use it daily. Even fits in my back pocket (which is stupidly small because women’s clothing). Had this thing for five years and still going strong. Everyone at work wants one of their own after they saw mine.

- pages have nice weight and are pretty stain proof
- durable
- lays flat

- the way the binding is done, if I try to access the pages in the back of the book they can fall out of the binding
- I wish the Tapping Drill Sizes for Thread Cutting Taps pages would include the nominal diameter for tapping and cutting drills instead of just the drill size. You can flip over to the Drill Size and Decimal Equivalent chart but it would be nice if it was all on the same page

I only Speeds and Feeds were laid out a little different

Info on inserts, metals, speeds/feeds, all the stuff you need. The paper resists tearing and you can handle it with dirty hands without ruining the pages.

Excellent book w/ 5 stars for Data, layout, binding, paper stock. The information is laid out in the manner it will be used. This is obviously a brilliant evolution driven by actual practicing Machinists and Engineers.

Suggestions: 1. Add First Aid instructions in front of to shop safety pages. 2. Add the "ABC's" of Fire Extinguishers. 3. Move SIN & TAN tables next to Trig' function pages. 4. Add the top 50 "G codes". 5. Add comment about the effect on magnetism when steel is heated to transformation range.

No cons, more suggestions for web site:
1. Sell an folding stand for large print book, ( for us FOG's ).
2. Sell a plastic slide rule (or rotary wheel) for feeds and speeds, (Niagara Cutters used to have one ?).
3. Sell a plastic slide rule (or rotary wheel) for Metric/Imperial conversions, (radio shack used to have one ?).

Fits in back pocket. Handy to have at the drafting deck and in front of the mill!

Perhaps because I'm new to industry. My initial thought is "how could there be any?" My second thought is. "Wouldn't it be neat to do/have a page for page video lesson of the entire book." With indepth, real life circumstances/training.
