I haven't had my Machinery's Handbook out since I got the Engineers Black Book. Most of my work as a hobbyist is basic and the Black Book is really handy. Along with the usual reference data, I find the carbide holder and insert tables very valuable, especially the visual identification of insert shapes.
Pros
Just about everything! It is a nice size to keep in one of your tool box drawers. The pages are sturdy (no dog ears yet) and they resist oil and grease stains

I use this almost every day. It's comprehensive yet compact. Much more user friendly than other larger publications. I'd like to see G and M codes included and maybe dimensions for common types of bearings.
