This book is my apprenticeship in referenceable form. Very handy for all formulae that got pushed out of the head for the next lesson.

Only con is the metric threading section is confusing vs the 2nd edition. Has a extra arrow for the angle on page 30, and doesn’t give you the thread depth (radial) unlike the 2nd edition.

All minor issues

I have a business were I deal with a lot of metal plates. Simulating the manufacturing process on CAM was frustrating since there was not enough tool bits on the software. Now that I have grabbed both of the tooling and fastener blackbook life has been much easier as it gives you visualisation and in depth information for each tool bit and its applications

Very in depth technical information

Wish it included information about modern (up to date) manufacturing practices like laser cutting, 3D printing e.t.c.
