I'm a hobbiest in woodworking and toolmaking and design with little engineering background. This book has been instrumental in teaching me about material strengths, formulas, cutting speeds, etc... It's not convenient to always search online for answers...this book has everything I need to know in one place.

Well organized, easy to read and understand. Strong pages and cover. Convenient to take with you when buying parts. Definitely a must have book for anyone designing and creating parts.

Some areas the print can be a little small to read for my aging eyes. On the other hand, I can also buy the larger print book.

Really wish it had 3 Wire Method tables for Metric and Imperial threads. With those included this book would be 110 percent.

This book is amazing. It's extremely helpful and pact with reference material. It also has stuff that I didn't know anything about. Every time I open it I learn something new.

It would be better if the covers extended to the width of the tabs when affixed - otherwise the are damaged when put into and out of pocket; it would be useful if Tapping Drill Sizes were provided for different percentages of engagement; it would be helpful to have an Alphabetical Index as well as the Table of Contents.
