This book has been a really valuable tool. I have used this for last 15 years as a tradesman. And for some quick engineering design standards.

Spot on technical information. This has been a very handy book to have for all mechanical trades. When I was an apprentice, this was a great handy book of knowledge. It had almost everything I needed to know.

There is still room for more improvements. For example, the threads section has a lot of good calculations and standard thread forms. But I could not find anything that contained screw cutting using the three wire method.

I purchased this book after being so impressed with the USA edition Black Book. I used this to sort all of my fasteners at home and find myself referencing the torque values frequently when working on my vehicle.

Abundance of information, easy to read and navigate.

The only thing holding me back from owning all the Engineer's Black Books is the cost.

I picked this up as an apprentice and it has proved to be invaluable on many occasions
