Handy Reference

A great quick reference to almost anything machining related, and the large-print edition is very easy to read.

Pros
Book is nicely printed and bound and easy to navigate and read. It's Machinery's Handbook when you don't have the time or need to wade through thousands of pages of details.

Cons
None so far.

If you are interested in Machining, this is a “Must Have” book

Pros
A lot of valuable information

Cons
Pages should be more protected. If you need it in the workshop, make sure to keep it away from any oil

WOW. So much info......

So much information I cant believe I waited this long to buy one!

Pros
Awesome compilation of info for machinists and engineers. Love the coated pages the greasy fingerprints wipe right off.

Cons
Should have bought the large print version (my aging eyes would have thanked me) Maybe include speeds and feeds for turning and milling in future versions.

As a computer aided drafter and designer, this book sits right beside the machinery's handbook on my desktop. As professional user of AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor, and Fusion 360 - I can say this book ROCKS!!! EXCELLENT & FAST REFERENCE SOURCE

Pros
The binding, the waterproof pages, the layout...simply amazing and enjoyable to browse

Cons
why have I just one copy....?....

Excellent reference

April 11, 2020 By: Elwood, Otesaga Machine (Gaylord, United States)

Comments
Excellent reference.

Pros
An abundance of information. Usually faster than searching through Machinerys Handbook.

Cons
The red tabs are nice, but a listing of the page numbers to affix each tab would be helpful. The inserts, tool holders, and boring bar tabs are easy to get out of order.
